Decentraland Just Might Be The Best Crypto Investment For 2022

Every once in a while, something special comes along that stops you dead in your tracks and makes you just make a mental note of where you are, and what's the date. You become enammered with the moment... frozen in your tracks, hopelessly encumbered by an impossible realization that you are experiencing something that is about to change everything. Such is the case with the metaverse. Whether you've watched Mark Zuckerberg's attempt to claim the metaverse, played with Axie Infinity, taken on the Sandbox, or ventured into Decentraland, you know what I'm talking about. It's something that we all know is about to change everything and we can't get enough of it.

When it comes to metaverse maturity, you have to admit that Decentraland may be the leader of the pack. Just think about it. You can create your own character, create your own look, buy land, build your own city, create your own games within the world, visit other peoples lands, play their games, experience their creations... and the list goes on and on and on. It's as if someone dropped another planet on us and all we have to do is type in the URL, connect up a digital wallet and away we go... We're off to the Casino, or we're at a concert... only to find ourselves catching up with old friends in the town center... Who knows what's next?

How many businesses will realize that they must have a presence in Decentraland? How many entrepreneurs will realize that if Decentraland continues to rise in popularity, the land prices could go into the stratosphere. Already, the price of digital parcels in Decentraland are outrageous to mere passers by... sitting at a frothy $15K at the time of writing this article. I can see a day where you won't be able to buy a parcel for less than $50K simply because there are only so many. Meanwhile, content creators are beginning to swarm. They're creating wearables by the boat load and learning new skill sets so they might have a chance at breaking into this market.

Right now there appears to be no end in sight. I wonder if we will look back in time some day at this article and realize we should have bit the bullet and bought ourselves some digital land. I wonder if one day we will have to go to Decentraland to meet with our colleagues for more serious venues such as training, tutorials, or even birthday parties. Only time will tell.
